    Every driver who is on duty within 20 km gets a loud, siren-style alert — even with their phone locked. The first one to accept is yours; everyone else is told it's taken.

    • One helper per request, so nobody wastes a trip

Trips are rides that need a driver. Anyone can raise one, and anyone nearby can take it. You set the route and the money; the drivers around you do the rest.

    Set the route

    Search, drop a pin or use where you are for the start, then pick the destination. The distance is worked out for you.

    Name your price and window

    Say how much you'll pay and how long the trip is open — anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours. Add a note like “2 seats, small luggage OK”.

    Take calls, then close it

    Drivers nearby call or WhatsApp you on your account's number. Once someone's taking it, mark it taken so the calls stop.

    Open trips within 20 km of their start point show up on your map, in Nearby and in Services.

    One tap to call, or open WhatsApp with a message already written: “Hi, I saw your trip on Help Chain…”.

    Agree the details and drive

    Confirm the pickup, the fare and the timing directly with the poster — then it's your ride to earn.

Trips connect people — they're not a taxi service. Help Chain doesn't book, price, insure or check the ride. Whoever drives is responsible for a valid licence, permits and insurance, and both of you agree the fare and details directly. Read the Trips terms.

Safety & privacy

Honest about safety, careful with your data.

A community only works when everyone knows the rules. Here they are, in plain words — each one links to the exact line in our policies.

We don't run background checks

Verifying a phone number proves someone controls that number — not who they are, whether they hold a licence, or whether they're safe. You're meeting a stranger. Treat it that way, and say no if you're not comfortable. Saying no costs you nothing.

Stay safe out there

  • Meet in a public, well-lit place whenever you can.
  • Tell someone you trust where you're going and who you're meeting.
  • For trips, confirm the driver's licence and vehicle papers before you get in.
  • If anything feels off, leave. You owe nobody an explanation.

Location only while it's needed

Background location runs in exactly two cases: while you're on duty, and while you have an open request. Go off duty or finish the request and it stops.

You know who sees your number

Your matched helper or requester sees it for that one help. If you post a trip, drivers near its start see it so they can call — that's how trips work.

Report from the chat

If someone behaves badly, report them from the chat screen. Reports preserve the records so they can be investigated, and passed to police if needed.

Your data is not a product

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising or ad profiles. No ads in the app, at all.

Delete any time, really

Deleting closes your account immediately and erases it after 30 days — requests, trips, chats, reviews and uploads. Change your mind in that window and just sign back in.

What is Help Chain?

A community app for drivers. Ask for help when you're stuck on the road and the drivers on duty within 20 km are alerted. Post a trip when you need a driver, or take one when you're heading that way. And get state tax, permits, insurance and PUC sorted through our Services desk.

What exactly is a trip?

A trip is a ride that needs a driver. Anyone can raise one by setting a start point, a destination, the money they're offering and how long it's open. Any driver near the start point can see it and call or WhatsApp the poster to take it.

How do I get paid for a trip, or pay for one?

Directly, between the two of you — cash, UPI, whatever you agree on the call. Help Chain doesn't handle the fare and takes no commission. Agree the amount, pickup and timing before you set off.

How many trips can I post?

Up to 5 a day, on every plan including the free trial. A trip stays open for the window you choose (15 minutes to 24 hours) and comes off the map on its own when that ends. Once someone takes it, mark it taken so others stop calling.

Who can see my phone number?

During a help, the person you're matched with can see it so they can call you. If you post a trip, drivers near its start point can see it — that's how they reach you. Your number isn't shown anywhere else in the app.

How do Services work?

Tap a service — State Tax, All India Permit, National Permit, Vehicle Insurance, or Fitness & PUC — and WhatsApp opens with your request already written to our desk. They'll tell you what's needed and what it costs before you pay anything.

Is it free?

Yes, to start. Every new account gets 30 days free, with 2 SOS and 3 help requests a day. Helping others, earning coins, trips and services are free on every plan. A Monthly plan with unlimited requests is coming soon through Google Play.

Are the helpers and drivers verified?

Only their phone number. We don't run background checks or licence checks. You're meeting someone you don't know — use your judgement, check licences and papers for trips, meet in public, and don't go ahead if something feels wrong.

Is Help Chain an emergency service?

No. If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 112 first. Help Chain is for the help that comes after — the push, the fuel, the tyre, the lift.

Does the app track me all the time?

No. Location runs in the background only while you're on duty or have an open help request. Go off duty or close the request and it stops. You can also turn off location permission in Android settings at any time.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete Account. Without the app: use the delete-account page linked at the bottom of this site. Your account closes immediately and everything is erased after 30 days — sign in during that window to restore it.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet — Help Chain is on Android. Write to connect.helpchain@gmail.com if you'd like to hear when iOS is ready.
